Médecins du Monde (MdM) / Docters of the World is an international non-governmental organization (ngo) providing humanitarian aid in 62 countries worldwide. We rely on the commitment of volunteer health professionals to providing medical assistance to vulnerable populations worldwide, as well in France
and the Netherlands.

MdM in Indonesia will start up a long term intervention on Making Pregnancy Safer in District Bener
Meriah of Aceh Province. MdM shall support the implementation of the national strategy for Birth Preparedness and Complication Readiness (BPCR) through upgrading the health services of midwives in remote areas. Meanwhile Village Health committees will be encouraged through participatory approaches to
involve the community in reducing Maternal and Newborn mortality. The project office is in Takengon, and all staff will be based there.
For a period of 20 months MdM is seeking for experienced nationals for the following positions:

Job description Administration/Finance Officer
Responsibilities
- Accounting/finance/bookkeeping
- Management of cashbox and advances to staff
- Budget monitoring
- Reporting financial and other
- Minute taking and reporting of meetings
- Administrative and logistical management
- Office management supplies and maintenance
- Personnel management
- Ensure excellent communication within the team
Profile of the ideal candidate:
· University degree in accounting, finance or equivalent
· At least 2 years experience in a similar position
· At least 1 year experience working with INGOs
· Experience in direct line management of staff
· Highly organised and confident
· Ability to work independently and as a good team player
· Ability to work within MdM guidelines
· Ability to work in a multicultural environment
· Excellent written and spoken English
· Excellent written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia
· Local language (Gayonese) preferred
· Local applicants from Bener Meriah and Aceh Tengah are encouraged to apply.
All applicants should have commitment to the mandate of Medecins du Monde with affinity in
health system and health care development along with basic skills and competencies:
- Integrity and personal conduct; sensitivity to diversity, flexibility and adaptability.
- Excellent in verbal and non-verbal communication skills, with good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Indonesia. Knowledge of Gayonese language and familiarity with social cultural conditions in Aceh Tengah and Bener Meriah is an asset
- Ability to work in a team; being a capacity builder and able to take and give feedback to strengthen others
- Ability to work independently, ability to well organize and coordinate many tasks, ability to prioritize tasks, being reliable and trustworthy.
- Preferably experience in humanitarian missions
- Ability to use computer program (Word, Excel and PPT)
